You never know what lies ahead of you. Past two days my heart was heavy. One of my favorite aunts passed away, so naturally it’s still the grieving time, however amid this sadness two of my deshi doctor bros gave me wonderful news! which helped me tremendously to comfort my soul.
It’s always inspiring to hear the success story after the hard fought fight. One of them is Dr. Prosenjit Chowdhury. He just Started a New Job at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
Yesterday as Junior Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedics. He is very hard working, smart and talented guy. I just work in the healthcare system but not a physician, yet I know a little about the licensing, residency etc, and I could tell you that I owe a great deal to him about this knowledge. His confidence, hard work and struggle in every step is remarkable. I do not know him for a long time, yet I was inspired a lot by him. I thank Binayok Das for this wonderful connection. The second news is from Dr. Ehsaan Ul Alam Chowdhury. I knew him through BCCB Healthcare Forum workshop. His dedication, commitment and perseverance is simply infectious! Within a short period of time he did a lot. He is on the way to achieve his dream job, but he has already started to accumulate the ingredients. This morning I learned that he has passed one of the licensing exams with distinction. He is working PT, and studying at the same time. To improve his communication skills he even went back to TDSB, not many would do that. Once again, he shows that sometimes you need to start from the bottom; in order to reach the top. Many of us hardly can accept that. We tend to think, I had been on the top already back home, why would I have to start from the bottom again.
I remember when Dr. mizanur rashid shuvra bhai went to Dr. Shafi Bhuiyan bhai’s to look for a job at Ryerson ITMD program, instead of employing him him shafi bhai told him to get admission in to the program. How many of us could take it, but Shuvra bhai followed that and eventually he got his desired profession.
I like to follow this kind of people because the stories of this folks not only inspire me but also boost my confidence and belief.
