একদিকে শব যাত্রী …মৃত্যুর মিছিল …হাহাকার কান্না …!
(In one side funeral procession of deaths…weepings…!)
মানুষে মানুষে ভেদাভেদ, কলহ, হত্যা …গুম ও রাহাজানি …!!
(Chaos in mankind, fight, killing …kidnap and oppression…!)
প্রিয়জন হারানর বেথা …কাফনের কাপড়ের মাঝে নিস্তব্ধ শরীরটি …!
(Loss of beloved…the dead body inside the coffin clothes…!
জানাজা শেষে তাড়াতাড়ি দাফনের বেবস্থা …মৃত আত্মার শান্তি …!!
(After the rituals, hurriedly burial for the peace of soul…!!)
দাফন শেষে মুখে নেই ভাষা …শুধু অশ্রু ভরা ছল ছল চোখ …!
(There is no voice or words after the burial…only eyes with tears…!)
কারো বাবা হারানোর শোক …কার মেয়ে হারানোর কান্না …!!
(Some lost their father…some lost their daughter…!!)
কারো ছেলে হারানোর কান্না …কারো মা হারানর শোক …!
(Some lost their son… some lost their mother…!)
কেউ বা স্বামী হারানর বিষণ্ণতা …কেউ বা স্ত্রী হারানর বেথা …!!
(Some are sad for the loss of husband…some for the loss of wife…!)
অন্যদিকে যাচ্ছে বর যাত্রী …সহাসসে বরন করতে পাত্র – পাত্রী …!
(On the other hand, is going a bridal procession…with joy to embrace bride and groom…!)
হতে বিবাহ বন্ধনে …সবার সাথে নিকাহ শেষে তবারক বিতরন …!!

বাড়ী ঘর সাজানো …আল্পনায় আঁকানো …হলুদে হলুদে …!

লালে লাল রাঙ্গানো বাসর ঘরের খাট …!!

(This is the cycle…! A good time for some…a disaster for some…!)
কেউ বা যায় এ দুনিয়া ছেড়ে পরপারে …একেবারে …!!
(Some leaves this world for Hereafter… for good…!!)
কেউ বা যায় নতুন ঘর সংসার বাঁধতে …সুখে – দুঃখে …!
(Some starts new family life…in weal and woes…!)
জীবন সংগ্রামে …ভালবাসায় …মায়া মমতায় …!!
(Struggle of life…with loves…affection- adore…!!)
