I have never lived there, but I had the opportunity to spend sometimes in that Canadian province in last summer. And I had passed most of my times in that area where the shooting took place. I stayed mostly in the small town called Truro, where my friend Jafar Sadek bhai and Farhana Afroz live. Actually, Jafar Sadek bhai and I went to the tidal bore rafting and our way back we stopped by a golf course. One of the shooting spots was there. Still that place is pretty vivid in my memory.
What I observed during my week-long trip there that the people are very friendly, welcoming and helping. I have been in many small business establishments in Truro while Jafar bhai and Farhana was at work . I saw the people’s wonderful hospitality to their city. If I had a job I would not mind to live that area.
It is really heartbreaking to hear the tragedy of those wonderful people there.
During this pandemic they are already in crisis, on top of that this terrible tragedy is like insult to injury.
May the Almighty give those departed souls heaven and the people there get the courage to handle this loss!!!
With this little note, I would like to express my solidarity and condolence to that community.
